This course presents the treatment planning challenge of restoring the single missing anterior tooth with an implant. Dr. Allen Glied moderates a course by Dr. Kinzer who presents four cases, all needing to have a single maxillary central incisor extracted and restored. This module will give you an opportunity to discuss and plan the management of the single anterior implant from treatment planning to completion.

Objectives

  • When to choose immediate placement over delayed placement of the implant
  • Managing the soft tissue profile to provide the best esthetic result
  • Provisionalization – when and how
  • What steps are the implant surgeon’s responsibility, and which belong to the restorative dentist
